The Connection is an independent and free magazine, being published by a local resident and businessman, Phil Williams.
We are a family run business, local in every way, from the publisher/editor (that’s me) to our team of distributors and will do whatever we can to support the local residential and business community.
“The Connection is a truly local magazine & directory that helps to publicise small businesses to the local population - it connects local residents with local businesses. With costs kept low to offer great value advertising, smaller companies - especially those with a shop front - are able to promote their services in a quality publication to the people who really want to use them - the ‘locals’. The cost to advertise compared to local newspapers and not-so-local A4 magazines is small, meaning businesses can afford to have a sustained marketing campaign over a number of months, giving them the best response.
“Having lived in the Alcester area for 25 years, with family links to the area going back generations, I know the area well, but through the magazine I have made many new contacts and friends in the business community. Many of these businesses are, like The Connection, small independents who need the support of the local community to succeed.
